MONDAY MORNING

7 STEPS FOR IMPLEMENTING MEANINGFUL EVENTS

As you enjoy a beautiful brunch you’ll see the end result of Kelly’s creative process and 7 Steps for Implementing Meaningful Events. As the day unfolds she will take you through each step, from inquiry to implementation. Learn how to identify the right client for your business and close the sale before offering your ideas for free. Review the estimate and pricing, design proposal and contract. Examine the internal budget and profit margins. See the design process worked out. Walk away with a helpful packet of samples and resources.

MONDAY AFTERNOON

DEMONSTRATIONS

Observe design mechanics and principles in action as Kelly creates bouquets, centerpieces, a large-scale entry arrangement and an arbor. Ask anything as we go along!

TUESDAY

ARRANGING FLOWERS & TRAINING A TEAM

We’ll dive deep into the arranging and training aspects of Step 5 from Monday’s 7 Steps lesson. If you’re brand new to flowers, perfect — you’ll learn everything you need to get started. If you’ve been doing flowers for a while and want to take your business to a new level, learning how to train others will benefit you tremendously — view today from that perspective. You’ll work with flowers Kelly chooses, and we will discuss why she chose them. We will spend the morning demonstrating and designing small pieces: boutonnieres, a corsage, crown and comb. In the afternoon, we will work on the bouquet and centerpiece. At day's end, you will have implemented content from the online experience. You will be able to feel balance in your arrangements, both physical and visual. You'll catch the movement & see the rest. You'll be prepared for Wednesday when you're set loose in a cooler full of flowers!

WEDNESDAY

OPEN STUDIO & CONNECTION NIGHT

A buffet of seasonal flowers will greet you! Using the knowledge you’ve acquired, you’ll be free to choose, experiment and work out a unique piece for your portfolio — bouquet or centerpiece — whatever you decide. Present your arrangement for feedback if you’d like. As time and materials remain, jump in again and keep creating! The day will conclude with a sunset celebration dinner designed to help you connect. It will be a magic night surrounded by friends.
