Arbors intimidate a lot of people. If you are one of those people, you aren't alone. What if I told you that you could do just about anything a bride shoots your way with three or four simple mechanics ingredients? Would you believe me? Well, it's true. It's like magic!

My first boyfriend was a professional magician (and I, his assistant), so I know a thing or two about illusions! I've taken the code on those secrets so I can't share them (haha), but I CAN share all the illusion secrets for flowers that spring and float in all kinds of settings. My job is to make the complex simple and put you on the fast track.

In addition to fast-tracking arbors for you, I'm sharing all the essentials for wedding ceremony design. Large scale arrangements, guestbooks and memorials, aisle markers, garlands, wreaths, and flowers that spring up from the ground!

Lesson 1: Garlands

In this lesson you'll see two techniques for creating garlands. Use these at entries, on tables and down aisles!

Lesson 2: Wreaths

All the tools you need to create a variety of wreaths at different price points are found here. Simple greenery, partial floral and full floral are all things you'll be able to tackle after this session.

Lesson 3: Guestbook & Memorial

You'll see three options for thoughtful entry tables, each at a different price point. Use it for ceremony design and apply it to rehearsal dinners and receptions as well!

Lesson 4: Large-Scale

Impactful and multifunctional, large scale arrangements are a key piece in the designer's repertoire. Easy to move and easy to make with tips found in these lessons. See two different ways to set up your mechanics as we make mirroring pieces, perfect for flanking the back of an aisle, doorway or altar.

Lesson 5: Aisle Marker

Three different styles of aisle markers are shown along with our favorite ways to attach them to seats. Make the seats in your ceremony design stand out!

Lesson 6: Ground Focal Point

In this lesson I'll show you how a small amount of humble ingredients can be elevated to ceremony focal point status! I'll also show you several methods for mechanics so you can go as light or heavy as you'd like, opening the possibilities for what you can offer your clients within their budget.

Lesson 7: Simple Fabric Arbor

When car space is limited and budgets are tight, I love to pull out this simple arbor trick! Elegant and understated, it's perfect for an outdoor setting and a bride who values minimalism.

Lesson 8: Full Metal Arbor

Want to know a little more About me?

I live in Boone, North Carolina with my husband Jesse and our golden doodle Buster. I tend a little garden and love to write about what I see there. I got my start in flowers in 2012 with Philosophy Flowers.

I have a B.S. in FACS with Teacher Licensure, and thought I would be a middle school teacher. God had other plans for me though, and I'm reminded of that every day when I pass by the wall where all my dreams, promises and letters from Team Flower members are posted. My education, as unrelated as it may appear, is in truth, very relatable — an uncanny setup for the work I do with Team Flower. I took classes in marketing, entrepreneurship, interior design, fashion design and education. All these topics and skills transfer beautifully. I also left college with my husband Jesse, who is, in every way, the perfect partner for me and Team Flower.

In this class I found easy mechanics to make my floral designs more efficient and less costly — which in turn makes my work more profitable. In the supplied notes, I always found the product info and pricing the most helpful as it gave me a baseline on how to define my recipes and my prices.
